Bike Fitting

Bike Fitting has become a science over the last few years, as bike technology has moved on. The size and geometry of a bike are critical, as is proper adjustment of the handlebars, saddle and cleats.

We have invested in training our staff to get you on the right size bike in the right position. There is no point spending thousands of pounds on a new road bike or mountain bike if it is the wrong size and is not comfortable for you - you will never get the best out of your cycling that way, and it may even start to create problems (back or neck pains, sore knees, hotfoot, etc...)

The bike fitting service is available to anyone. If you have purchased a new bike from a different shop, have an old bike that is just uncomfortable or you're in the market for a new bike, please come and see us and we can make sure that you are riding the correct size bike in the correct position.

The bike fitting can take a couple of hours to get you in the right place, but if your knuckles drag on the floor it may be a bit longer!

We include bike fitting for new bikes bought through us. In other cases, the cost of bike fitting will depend on how long it takes and what parts may need adjustment, but as a guide price the fitting is £100 to £150. That includes cleats setup and an after-fitting check-up service.
