Unleash the budding adventurer in your child with the 2023 Roscoe 20 by TREK, a mid-fat kids' mountain bike purpose-built to incite confidence and a love for trail riding. This bike takes inspiration from the adult Roscoe, but it's specifically designed for the young riders. Equipped with 2.8" mid-fat tyres, a 1x drivetrain, and a wide-range cassette, Roscoe 20 is genuinely the perfect bike for aspiring little rippers eager to challenge their skills and have immense fun.

Who Is It For?

This bike is ideally suited if your youngster is excited to progress from riding on neighbourhood streets to exploring the trails. The Roscoe 20 mountain bike is the ultimate tool to instil confidence and improve their skills right from the start.

Key Features

Some of the bike's standout features include a durable Alpha Gold Aluminium frame, laden with a sloping top tube for extra clearance, 20" wheels coupled with mid-fat 2.8" tyres for increased traction and stability. It features a 1x8 Shimano drive train allowing for wide-range gear shifting, perfect for hills and challenging trails. Mechanical disc brakes and an array of thoughtful details modelled on adult MTB tech, such as a closed front dropout and a concealed rear brake calliper, make this bike a fantastic choice.

Verdict

Introduce your child to the world of trail biking with the Roscoe 20 - it might just cultivate their love for mountain biking for life. The distinct blend of mid-fat tyres and bike-geometry catering to young bikers makes this bike an unparalleled initiation into trail biking. Once your child experiences riding on singletrack with this bike, they are bound to develop a passion for this incredible activity.

Reasons To Love It

  3. With its 1x8 drivetrain, the Roscoe 20 simplifies riding, helping kids to concentrate on mastering bike balance.
  4. The bike's unique frame geometry includes a sloping top tube which simplifies getting on and off the bike.
  5. Detailed design includes a rear brake calliper tucked into the frame to avoid damage when the bike is laid down.
